Starting in the suite
We started at 9:00 in the morning, in their suite. Soft morning light through the windows, the ocean right outside. A familiar place helps: no new spot to get used to, so they were relaxed from the very first frame.
Down to the beach
From the suite we walked down to Cabana Beach, the resort’s VIP beach, open to them as guests. This couple had energy to spare. Lots of laughing, lots of fun, and you can see it in every image.
A photoshoot at your hotel: how it works
Staying at a resort or hotel in Curaçao? We can start where you are, as a couple or as a family.
- Mention your hotel in the booking form. That way I know the spots and how we’ll move around.
- Check with the front desk whether photography is allowed on the grounds and the beach. Many resort beaches are for guests only, and then you’re the access.
- Plan for the morning or late afternoon. That’s the softest light, inside and out.
It saves travel time on vacation, and you get photos of the place you’ll remember the trip by.
