Three generations on one beach
We photographed at Playa Kanoa, on Curaçao’s open north coast. Plenty of room for ten people, and a breeze that keeps hair and clothes moving. We started with the full group, then moved on to smaller sets: each family together, and of course grandma and grandpa.
The couple at the center
The last part was just for the two of them. Sixty years together doesn’t show in a posture, but in the small things. Figuring out together how they wanted to stand, making each other laugh, holding on to each other. Those images are the heart of this series.
An anniversary with the whole family
Celebrating an anniversary as a couple? Then an anniversary photoshoot is the natural choice. When children and grandchildren join, like they did here, it becomes a family photoshoot, with more time and room for every generation.
